Tour Details

The 4-day 3-night Tanzania budget camping safari will take you to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. It will offer you the chance to see a wide variety of wildlife amongst some of the most diversified landscapes in the world. Not only will you visit the unforgettable Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks, but you will also see the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ngorongoro Crater is often called Africa’s Eden and the 8th Natural Wonder of the World. You will see huge herds of elephants, and in season flocks of flamingos and troops of baboons.

Facts: This itinerary safari is for clients who have limited time. It gives you a true taste of what the northern safari circuit has to offer

Itinerary

Day 1 | Tarangire National Park

After early breakfast, you will depart for a full day of game drive in Tarangire National Park. This park has the largest concentration of elephants, often seen bathing in the Tarangire river, lots of giraffes, monkeys, impalas, and many birds. It is also one of the best places to see lions, leopards, and lions. In the late afternoon, you will continue to the specified accommodation facility for dinner and overnight.

Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.


Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart with picnic lunch and drive to Ngorongoro crater for a full day of game drive. The crater has a good number of lions and cheetahs, and it is another good place to see the rare black rhino. In the late afternoon continue Serengeti national park for dinner and overnight.

Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested.


Day 3 | Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will have morning and afternoon game drives in central Serengeti national park with early departure looking for active predators. Serengeti is the park with the largest concentration of big mammals in the world and it is where you will see most of your exciting wildlife. The sightings in the central Serengeti will include prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hippos, impalas, dik dik, monkeys, baboons, gazelles, warthogs and many more. Day 4 | Serengeti National Park/Arusha

After breakfast you will have morning game drive in Serengeti national park, then return back to Arusha for your departure. On your way back you can have a stop at olduvai gorge for some few minutes.

Tips will vary depending on the length and complexity of the trip, the number of staff on the trip and the number of clients on the trip. Generally, groups like to meet before the end of the trek to discuss how much they would like to tip each staff member based on their individual trek experience.

The following are daily rates for each safari per staff member:

  • Driver guide: $20/day
  • Cook: $15/day (this is for the ones opting for a budgeted camping safari.

Please note: If you opt lodge safari, you will be with your driver guide only, therefore you can arrange tip for driver only. If you opt camping safari, then you will be with safari driver guide and cook, therefore you can arrange tip for. If satisfied you can give more according to your Plan.
